Exquisite Sidebar Design in Website Layouts

custom-web-design-sidebars

Consider all the aspects of a website layout. There are so many elements included in the header and footer areas which wrap around the inner content. And layout trends can overlap drastically compared to blogs, corporate websites, or even social networking brands. And for this reason I have a great passion for building well-planned website designs.

In the showcase below I’ve cataloged some of my favorite examples of website sidebars. The best designers are able to blend content in-between the main column, and sidebars are the perfect companion. But when you have too much content your layout will appear dense, cluttered, and difficult to work with. You will want to make sure that you use this precious space as effectively as possible.

Use some of these examples for your own inspiration and be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments area.

  2. Awesome blog! Do you have any tips and hints for aspiring writers?
I’m planning to start my own site soon but I’m a little lost on everything.
Would you propose starting with a free platform
like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are
so many choices out there that I’m totally confused .. Any recommendations? Thank you!
